Welcome to Jupiter
An outdoor lover’s paradise
This is one Florida town you’ll find hard to forget.
Jupiter’s community is deeply rooted in the outdoors and is known for its golfing and stunning beaches enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Being the northernmost town in Palm Beach County, Jupiter is engulfed with tropical trees and lush landscaping that line the streets of its many communities. The Loxahatchee River draws in residents who desire to live alongside waterways that lead out to the Atlantic Ocean, offering world-class sportfishing and boating.
From world-class golf courses to fishing, this town has plenty to offer for water and nature enthusiasts. Paddleboarding and kayaking are popular ways for Jupiter residents to explore the Intracoastal Waterway during high or low tide. An active lifestyle and the proximity to the ocean and river are core tenets of the people who call Jupiter home.

People and Lifestyle
Jupiter residents are thrill-seeking, active, and take full advantage of the plentiful outdoor amenities in town. Jupiter is one of the only areas that have a large stretch of beach that allows you to bring your dog along for a beautiful evening stroll. Locals can be found inside the inlet waterways on any given weekend hanging around the Loxahatchee Sandbar or the Tequesta Sandbar just up the way; they love taking their boats out for a day of sun, picnicking, and fishing. Afterward, they hit up one of the restaurants that line the Intracoastal Waterway where you can arrive via boat or car for some of the most gorgeous sunsets in the area.
Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping
This is a great town for casual, beach cuisine and watering holes filled with golfers and fishermen. Here are some of our favorite beachside spots to try after a day in the sun:
- Leftovers Cafe: Eclectic plates with live music offerings!
- 1000 North: Premier, upscale waterfront restaurant and steakhouse
- U-Tiki Beach: Waterfront restaurant and bar with perfect views of the lighthouse and a fun ambiance!
- Guanabanas: This place is a must-try!
- Square Grouper: Idyllic, Caribbean-style tiki bar set underneath towering palm trees. This is the ultimate “end-of-week frozen cocktail” spot.
Restaurants along the Loxahatchee Waterway will provide you with a picturesque view of the sunset and the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, which is a historical landmark from the 1860s.
Things To Do
The top of every to-do list here is the beaches, waterways, and golf courses. Our favorites include Jupiter Beach, Jupiter Dog Beach, Jupiter Beach Park, Ocean Cay Park, and Carlin Park, which provides beach access plus recreation area, playground, tennis courts, and amphitheater.
